So I really liked the old HPSTR theme I was using before, and the site looked like this below:
I still think it looked really clean to be honest. If this website was more of a blog where the writing actually mattered, then it would probably be a better layout than the new Nubia theme which I’m using now.
For now though my main focus is going to be with Blender and Unreal Engine, where the important part is not really my writing but the images that go along with it. With this new layout at a quick glance you see all recent projects visually and can immediately zone in on what looks interesting to see. With the old layout you would need to scroll through pages of text to actually see the images.
Another bonus is the tag system works much better here, so clicking the “Blender” tag link will show all Blender renders in one place. The old layout didn’t support that out of the box.
