This video popped up on my youtube recommended list, and since it was short and sweet (get it??) I followed along and made it myself in an hour and a half or so. I wouldn’t have bothered except I was curious how he went about making the cream, I thought maybe it was sculpted (I think there is a brush to make shapes like that) but actually it was as simple as extruding up plenty of times and then rotating the whole thing inside a lattice afterwards. It was probably worth making just for that little technique alone.

Once I’ve finished the Davinci Resolve Udemy course I’m planning to watch a course on Houdini next. I’m unsure if it’s worth spending the time really learning Houdini given Blender is serving me so well, but I think for now I’ll watch some videos on it and then decide if it’s worth investing the time into.

I also just ordered this VEIKK graphics tablet so that I can have a go at learning some sculpting as well as texture painting. So much to learn, but it’s all so much fun :)
